Abstract

The study of the infrared spectrum of fulminic acid, HCNO, since the first high resolution measurements were carried out in the laboratory of K. Narahari Rao at The Ohio State University in 1968, will be reviewed. Current work involves the isotopically substituted species $H_{13}CNO$, $HC_{15}NO$ and $H_{13}C$ $^{13}NO$.
