Abstract
The aim of the research. To study the changes of organ hemodynamics after porto-systemic shunting in children with extrahepatic portal circulation unit on the background of cavernous transformation of the portal vein. Materials and methods. Were examined the changes in liver hemodynamics in 33 children aged 4 to 7 years old with extrahepatic portal hypertension. Results. It was established that after the operation of porto-systemic shunting was significantly reduced portal hemodynamics and values of the pulsation and resistive vascular resistance of the liver. Conclusion. After operation significantly unloaded the portal system, that is the prevention of gastrointestinal bleeding in extra-hepatic portal hypertension.
