Abstract

Kalanchoe ×houghtonii D.B.Ward (Crassulaceae), a hybrid between two Madagascan species, Kalanchoe daigremontiana Raym.-Hamet & H.Perrier and Kalanchoe delagoensis Eckl. & Zeyh., is recorded as escaping from gardens into natural vegetation in and around Cascais and Estoril, northwest of Lisbon, Portugal. The hybrid is illustrated.
