Abstract
Six formulated diets were tested on 21 day old Clarias batrachus fry for a period of 25 days. The diets were of varying protein levels (28.1% - 52.2%). The optimum protein requirement was 49.1% under the water temperatureranging from 27-30°C. The protein energy ratio of this diet was 128.7 mg protein / kcal energy and protein efficiency ratio was 0.44.
