Abstract
A Streptomyces sp.strain TJ430,capable of producing broad-spectrum anthracycline antimicrobial metabolites, was isolated from the soil of Yuanyang,Yunnan Province. The optimum fermentation conditions of this strain were studied and the optimum culture medium was consisted of 1.8% glucose,0.5% tryptone,0.3% soybean meal,0.1 % yeast extract and 0.025% CaCO3.The yield of antifungal metabolites reached highest after culturing for 96 h on a rotary shaker under the best fermentation conditions of 25 mL culture medium in 250 mL flask,9% of inoculating amount,28°C of temperature, initial pH 8.5 and 200 rpm rotating speed.
